Election Security
Public confidence in elections is earned.
The people of Park County deserve to know that their votes are counted accurately. That is something I have spent my entire career making sure of.
Wyoming elections are run by county clerks under state law, with public oversight and post-election audits built into every step. I know this process from the inside out. Over ten election cycles across two Wyoming counties, I have personally programmed the equipment, conducted public tests, maintained chain of custody documentation, and followed the security protocols established by the Wyoming Legislature and the Secretary of State.
Every Wyoming election begins with public testing of all equipment - open to any candidate, party member, or citizen who wants to observe. Bipartisan oversight, secure chain of custody, and post-election audits are not talking points. They are the actual process, and they work.
I also believe public confidence has to be earned continuously. I participated in the development of legislation to expand hand count audits in the 2026 election cycle, adding an additional layer of verification that our electronic tabulators produce accurate results. That is not something I was asked to support. It is something I sought out.
